Management Fest MAGONN-2016 was conducted at MES-AIMAT campus on the 27th and 28th of October ,2016.The extravagant action oriented fest was inaugurated with hoisting of the Magonn flag by Dr.M K.Mohamed Aslam, Hon.Secretary, MES AIMAT. The Best Manager, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Business Quiz, Best Management Team, Spot Dance, Mobile Photography and Treasure Hunt games had intriguing multiple rounds. More than 200 participants from 22 colleges from various institutes ensured their energetic presence in all the games. Cultural events organized by the students of MES AIMAT lend an alluring air to the fest. The prizes for the various events were handed over at the valedictory function attended by ,the Director Dr. P.A.Habeeb Rahiman, the Head of Department MBA Dr.Abraham .B. Meleth ,the Chief coordinator Prof Muhammed Sajjiad ,and the various student and faculty coordinators of the events. DCSMAT students were declared winners of the overall championship .The organization as part of its CSR initiative donated an amount to the Cancer Awareness Society.

IEDC Summit 2016 conducted by Kerala startup mission on 23rd August at Girideepam Convention Centre, Trivandrum which was Kerala’s largest Summit for aspiring student entrepreneur. From all over Kerala 15 projects were selected. Karshakanatekada.com was one among the selected projects. People from various field visited our expo to review the demonstration and behold the project. Imminent personalities like as Sijo Kuruvilla George CEO Startup Village visited and appreciated the students.
MES Advanced Institute of Management and Technology (MES AIMAT) has inaugurated its 13th batch of full-time MBA program at college auditorium in campus on 21 July 2016.The orientation program for new students will extend for two weeks, beginning from today, all designed to benefit the students to adapt to the management domain with ease. The programs also aim to instill the true spirit and culture of the institution, enabling them to seamlessly experience the new phase of life
The inauguration program commenced at 10am on the day, with a welcome speech by Dr.P.A.Habeeb Rahiman Director and Jb.M.A Muhammad Chairman of the institute making the presidential address, informed students the mission of their education, ‘Through inspiring stories, he motivated students to become compassionate human beings.
Dr.M.C.Dileep Kumar, Vice Chancellor Sreeshankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady was the Chief Guest for the occasion. In his inaugural address, he spoke on the importance of self-management, time management and crisis management in management parlance. He brought forth the sense of responsibility among students by reminding them of four policies capable to transform their lives-- passion for excellence, hard work, commitment and openness to ideas. He urged them to be active players in curricular and co-curricular activities with a note to think beyond ‘self’. The felicitation and the vote of thanks were proposed by Dr.K.C.Sankaranarayanan and Dr.Abraham B .Meleth respectively. A PTA meeting of the parents of the fresher’s was conducted after the official inauguration.

There is a need to go learn and implement Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). It has a specific advantage in academics over buying the proprietary stuff at high cost for its customization value. FOSS is easily accessible and customizable subject to your creativity, involvement and expertise.
MES AIMAT is planning to move to FOSS. Moving to FOSS will get an opportunity to peep into their world, interact with them more closely. Plan is to have a series of workshops on different FOSS products, namely, Linux, Ubuntu, Python and PHP & MySQL. Etc. A farewell ceremony was organized for the students of S4 MBA (2014-2016) batch by the junior students of the institute. The farewell ceremony comprised of a mixture of ceremonial and informal rituals. The morning session began with official speeches by the Chairman Jb.M.A Mohammed, Director Dr.P.A Habeeb Rahiman and the departmental heads and presenting of certificates .The forenoon session was one full of fun filled cultural extravaganza .The students left the campus bidding goodbye and with a promise to be a good model representative of the institute.
