A Two day training program on Two-day finishing touch program for MCA students was conducted on 2rd and 3th of December(Friday and Saturday) 2016 . Dr.P.A.Habeeb Rahman, Director MES AIMAT welcomed the Trainers and the participants. The sessions was handled by Mr. Sreekanth D from ICT Academy Kerala. ICT Academy of Kerala is a Social Enterprise created in a Public Private Partnership model (PPP) for imparting ICT skills to the youths of Kerala and improve their employability opportunities in the Industry. The Company is supported by Govt. of India, partnered by Govt. of Kerala and the ICT industry. The core objective of the programme was to improve employability skills amongst Students.
With an objective to orient students to take up entrepreneurial career, MES AIMAT is organizing a series of training programmes and workshops titled Starupedia-2017. The official launching programme was conducted on December 1st 2016.The chief guest for the event are Mr. Rajan T Nair (Project Officer EDII India) and Mr. Daniel Jeevan (Technical Officer Kerala Startup Mission). Dr.P.A.Habeeb Rahman, Director MES AIMAT welcomed the gathering. Mr. Rajan T. Nair (Project officer, EDII) inaugurated the programme and discussed the charms of being an entrepreneur. The event was presided over by Dr. Dr. K C Sankaranarayanan, leading economist and former director of the institution. Mr. Daniel Jeevan , Technical Officer Kerala Startup Mission explained the different activities of Kerala Startup Mission and the various supports they provide for encouraging student startups. The felicitations were given by the Heads of department MBA Dr. Abraham B Meleth and HOD in charge MCA Ms.Shariza Azeez. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Jibin N Nodal officer IEDC MES AIMAT. The student coordinators of programme were Mr. Sajad Mohammed, CEO IEDC AIMAT (S5 MCA), Mr.Hafis.K, CTO IEDC MES AIMAT (S3 MCA) and Fathiha Rahath CFO IEDC MES AIMAT (S3 MCA). The programme was over by 12.30 pm.
FAB LAB Kerala Startup Mission conducted a two day workshop titled “Srishti”- the training programme for MES AIMAT Students. Fab lab visit for students was held on 26/11/2016, 27/11/2016. The students got an opportunity to interact with the project managers. They gave the students an overview on projects at Fablab, Kochi. The innovation was made possible by the digital fabrication laboratory, a concept developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The amazing world of fab lab, as it is globally known and, which has by now popularized the slogan ‘anyone can make anything’. Our students got training and practical experience in various machines in FAB LAB like Shopbot Gantry, Printrbot LC Kit, laser cutting vinyl cutting, etc, also they created many furniture for IEDC Lab.It was a fabulous experience to the students and got practical experience for operating various machines. The student coordinators of programme were Mr. Sajad Mohammed, CEO IEDC AIMAT (S5 MCA), Mr. Mohammed Shanib (S3 MCA), CTO IEDC MES AIMAT (S3 MCA) and Fathiha Rahath CFO IEDC MES AIMAT (S3 MCA).
A round table conference on the theme “War against Black money –India Opens up Digital Cash Era” was held on the 24th of November 2016 at the AIMAT seminar hall. The programme was inaugurated by Dr.K.S.Radhakrishna, former Vice Chancellor University of Sanskrit and former chairman PSC Kerala. The lead talk was by Mr.Mohanachandran K.R (Chief General Manager and chief Risk Officer, Federal Bank).The discussion elaborated extensively on the latest developments of the demonetization of high value currency of our country. The central government’s take on black money and the consequential need for digitalization of cash system were spoken about from a banker’s perspective .The programme began with a welcome and presidential address by Dr.P.A .Habeeb Rahiman and Dr.Muhammed Aslam.The theme was introduced by leading economist and former director of the institution, Dr.K.C.Sankaranarayanan.The programme was attended by management representative of MES.The felicitations were given by the Heads of department MBA Dr.Abraham .B.Meleth and MCA Ms.Shariza Azeez.The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.Shama P.L. student coordinator .

Dr.P.A.Habeeb Rahman, Director MES AIMAT welcomed the gathering. The aim of the programme was to give an introduction about Kerala Startup Mission and its activities, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) and how it can be effectively run in the college to uture entrepreneurs.Mr. Jibin N Department of MCA, Nodal officer IEDC MES AIMAT proposed vote of thanks. The programme was conducted under Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) cell of our college.
Management Fest MAGONN-2016 was conducted at MES-AIMAT campus on the 27th and 28th of October ,2016.The extravagant action oriented fest was inaugurated with hoisting of the Magonn flag by Dr.M K.Mohamed Aslam, Hon.Secretary, MES AIMAT. The Best Manager, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Business Quiz, Best Management Team, Spot Dance, Mobile Photography and Treasure Hunt games had intriguing multiple rounds. More than 200 participants from 22 colleges from various institutes ensured their energetic presence in all the games. Cultural events organized by the students of MES AIMAT lend an alluring air to the fest. The prizes for the various events were handed over at the valedictory function attended by ,the Director Dr. P.A.Habeeb Rahiman, the Head of Department MBA Dr.Abraham .B. Meleth ,the Chief coordinator Prof Muhammed Sajjiad ,and the various student and faculty coordinators of the events. DCSMAT students were declared winners of the overall championship .The organization as part of its CSR initiative donated an amount to the Cancer Awareness Society.

IEDC Summit 2016 conducted by Kerala startup mission on 23rd August at Girideepam Convention Centre, Trivandrum which was Kerala’s largest Summit for aspiring student entrepreneur. From all over Kerala 15 projects were selected. Karshakanatekada.com was one among the selected projects. People from various field visited our expo to review the demonstration and behold the project. Imminent personalities like as Sijo Kuruvilla George CEO Startup Village visited and appreciated the students.
MES Advanced Institute of Management and Technology (MES AIMAT) has inaugurated its 13th batch of full-time MBA program at college auditorium in campus on 21 July 2016.The orientation program for new students will extend for two weeks, beginning from today, all designed to benefit the students to adapt to the management domain with ease. The programs also aim to instill the true spirit and culture of the institution, enabling them to seamlessly experience the new phase of life
The inauguration program commenced at 10am on the day, with a welcome speech by Dr.P.A.Habeeb Rahiman Director and Jb.M.A Muhammad Chairman of the institute making the presidential address, informed students the mission of their education, ‘Through inspiring stories, he motivated students to become compassionate human beings.
Dr.M.C.Dileep Kumar, Vice Chancellor Sreeshankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady was the Chief Guest for the occasion. In his inaugural address, he spoke on the importance of self-management, time management and crisis management in management parlance. He brought forth the sense of responsibility among students by reminding them of four policies capable to transform their lives-- passion for excellence, hard work, commitment and openness to ideas. He urged them to be active players in curricular and co-curricular activities with a note to think beyond ‘self’. The felicitation and the vote of thanks were proposed by Dr.K.C.Sankaranarayanan and Dr.Abraham B .Meleth respectively. A PTA meeting of the parents of the fresher’s was conducted after the official inauguration.
