Application for admission to Entrance Examination of MBA course in Kerala can be submitted only through online in the website http://www.kmatkerala.in/. Application fee can be remitted online from 15.11.2017 to 19.01.2018. The last date and time for submission of applications through online will be 20.01.2018, 12 pm. The date of examination is 04.02.2018
1. As a first step, candidates are required to pay the application fee online. Fee for General Candidates is Rs 1000/- & for SC/ST Candidates is Rs 750/-, and is payable only via Net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card facility of any bank. Bank Charges, if any, has to be levied by the candidate in addition to the application fee. Click on the adjacent link to enter basic personal details and make fee payment
2. Once the payment is successful, login using the SB Collect Reference Number and date of birth as password to complete the rest of the registration process. Candidates will be able to login only after 24hours or on the next working day of payment of application fee. This step requires the candidate to enter detailed personal and academic information, followed by photograph & signature upload. IEDC MES AIMAT organized a talk on Venture Capital funding for startups on November 22nd 2017 by Mr. Joy Paul, Regional Head and Dy Vice President Federal bank Ernakulum Zonal office from 1.30pm-4.30pm. Venture funding works like gears. A typical startup goes through several rounds of funding, and at each round you want to take just enough money to reach the speed where you can shift into the next gear. Mr. Joy Paul in his talk explained the various funding schemes from banks available for startups. Prof. Sajjad HOD MBA welcomed the gathering, Prof. Mohammed Sajjad and Prof. Lakshmi. B HOD MCA presented memento to the chief guest. The programme was concluded at 4.30pm
The Startup i3 is the platform for students to express their innovative ideas in a group. Brain storming the ideas in a group will help the students to ascertain whether their idea is viable or not. The mentoring sessions are organized made in such a way that the best ideas are offered pre-incubation facility under KSUM and Innovative ideas will be shown the best path as to how well the same can be executed.
A team of 5 members from colleges across boot camps in the state shall participate Startupi3. The members to be identified by the Boot Camp Nodal officer from each college .
Ideation is one of the basic process which have to be shown the right path. Connecting the Problem of the society and need of the society will create successful enterprise. Connecting the same with technology will bring out innovative technology products. Kerala Start up Mission in association with Open fuel will be giving a platform for students to interact with each other and to through away the barrier of expression.
Innovation needs knowledge, exposing the students to technology will bring out innovation. The 2 days programme will help the students to identify the core areas they can relate their studies with innovation.
Kerala Start up Mission gives the unique platform for the students to take their ideas to the next level. Mentorship and technical expertise will help the students to mould their ideas into successful products. The pre incubation facility will help the students to get a clear idea on the infrastructure facilities provided to the startup companies. The companies need not be registered for coming up their start up at the initial stage.
IEDC MES AIMAT organized startup i3 in assoication with Kerala Startup Mission on November 3rd and 4th 2017. The student coordinators for the programme is, Muhammed Hafis(CEO IEDC S4 MCA), Priya Jose K (COO S4 MCA), Megha Babu, Dilsha M Dileep, Juhaina K H and Jithin K Joshy. St Thomas College Kannur and Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology shared the first prize for best idea and MES AIMAT and NSS college of Engieering Palakkad shared the second prize.
MBA department of MES-AIMAT conducted a Faculty Development Programme on Goods & Services Tax at its campus on 30 th October 2017. The resource person for the programme was CA Soman N. L. who is convenor of the study group for GST in the State of Kerala constituted by ICAI, New Delhi. Around more than 50 participants from various colleges like St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulum, MES college, Erumely, MES College, Kunnkara etc. attended the programme. Resource person through his presentation and
class gave a clear picture about GST. Various scopes and dimensions about GST were highlighted during the session giving clear idea about How, on What and at What rate GST is applicable, thus clearing all the ambiguity in the minds of the participants about GST. The formal welcome address for the

An anti –ragging programme was conducted on the 3rd of August 2017 in the seminar hall of MES AIMAT.The resource person for the programme was Mr.Nazar, secretary legal services cell and Adv.Shanly Sebastian, Assistant Public Prosecutor .The programme began with a message by Dr.Habeeb Rahiman, Director of the institute .The resource persons presented the harsh realities related to ragging .They spoke on the legalities related to the issue. They gave a very empathetic clarity of the laws which are in existence. The programme was able to convey a strong anti –ragging awareness among the student participants of MBA and MCA, MES AIMAT.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr.Abraham.B.Meleth ,head of department ,MBA.
New academic sessions are dynamic and energizing as it heralds new entrants. The inauguration of the 2017 batch of MBA of MES AIMAT was organized on the 1st of August 2017 at the seminar hall of the institution. The ceremony began with the welcome speech by Dr.P.A .Habeeb Rahiman, director of the institute. The presidential address by honorable Chairman Jb.M.A.Muhammed ,elaborated on the necessity for students to be more industry friendly .The chief guest of the programme Mr.K.Paul Thomas, Chairman ,ESAF BANK gave the inaugural speech, where he spoke about his lived experiences of starting the ESAF bank .In their individualized messages ,Dr.K.A.Zakkarria,Secretary spoke about the need and the development of managerial skills among the students to make them industry ready and Jb.T.M.Zakkir Hussain ,MES District President and Treasurer of the institute urged the new batch of students to be more vibrant .Dr.A.Biju principal MES college Marampally offered the felicitation. IEDC MES AIMAT in association with Kerala Startup Mission and Neutrinos Solutions Bangalore is organized the programme Startup Boot camp for Young Entrepreneurs on 15th July 2017 from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm to motivate students towards Entrepreneurship. “Startup Boot camp” Program wherein it is envisaged to create a startup ecosystem in each and every college campus through active involvement of students. The CEO of the company Mr. Neutrinos Solutions Arun Pradeep and Chief operating officer of the company Manjula Naidu lead the sessions. The students from MCA MES AIMAT actively participated in the event. They motivated the students to learn technology and to start new career in Entrepreneurship. The main aim of the programme was to create a student friendly ecosystem within the college, favoring learning and development of all forms of creative skills. Also aimed to become a platform to hone and develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills and organize seminars, workshops and formal or informal conferences covering creative and entrepreneurial faculties. They encouraged the students for innovation, upgrading R&D skills, spearhead creative pursuits, create an atmosphere of skill-building and knowledge sharing with in the college. The company offered virtual funds for good student startup ideas from the college. The student coordinators for the programme was Haffis Kappur from S4 MCA and Priya Jose K from S4 MCA.
MES Advanced Institute of Management and Technology,(MES AIMAT) Student Dynel Dinesh’s innovative project idea “Toll Booth Management “was selected for incubation by the expert team form Maker Village. The main aim of the project is to automate the toll booths using AI and IoT technologies. Maker Village , is a joint initiative between Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology(MeitY), Government of India and Government of Kerala with Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Kerala (IIITM K) as the nodal agency for the project. The mission of Maker Village is to promote consumer electronics based innovation and set up labs and innovation centers that focus on the current trend and emerging technologies of disruptive nature to bring India to the forefront of innovation in the electronics space. As part of this initiative, an incubation space of around 25,000 Sq Ft, which is fully furnished and equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software facilities meeting the design and development requirements of the startups has been set up at KINFRA Hi Tech Park at Kalamassery Kochi. The Maker Village is supported and complemented by a Fab Lab facility catering to the Mechanical Fabrication requirements of the Electronic Incubators. The Maker Village has become the top destination for all IOT, and Consumer Electronics Startup activities in the state and is looking forward to become the best such facility in the country. The initiative fully complements the accelerated drive by both Central and State Governments to co-create a vibrant and comprehensive start-up eco system through a model partnering Industries, Incubators, Investors and the Innovators \".
